About
Kayla Dewees is an actress of sixteen years, having started her career in community theatre, she worked her way into the theatre and acting program at Arizona State University in 2016, where she discovered a love for acting in film and tv. She graduated early in the fall semester of 2019.
Kayla's most recent role was the lead character of Sammi in the feature film titled 'American Stream" in 2022. The film follows a couple, Sammi and Kyle, as Kyle pursues a career in live streaming video games. Her previous work has been in many different short films and plays. One of her recent theatre roles was in an ASU MainStage production titled "The flick" by Annie Baker, where Kayla starred as the role of Rose. Her work in 2021 consisted of a short film titled "Do I Know You?" in which she wrote and took on the role of "Alex." The film was directed by Moses Lawi.
Kayla is currently pursuing more work on film and tv productions with the ambition of being cast in a wide variety of roles.
